When you use Beewise, we may process financial-management information you choose to add, including transactions, categories, budgets, savings goals, group expenses, split details, receipt images, and related notes.

If you grant permission on a supported device, Beewise may read SMS messages to identify bank and transaction alerts. This permission is optional and is used to support transaction tracking. Beewise is not intended to collect unrelated personal conversations. You can revoke SMS access at any time in your device settings.

We may also collect limited technical information such as device type, app version, diagnostic events, IP address, and usage activity needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

We use information to provide the features you request, authenticate your account, organize financial activity, calculate summaries, manage budgets and goals, support shared expenses, respond to requests, prevent misuse, and maintain the reliability of Beewise.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand how features perform and improve the product. We do not use the contents of your financial activity to provide financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.

Beewise asks for device permissions only when a feature needs them. Depending on the features you use, this may include SMS access for transaction detection, camera or photo access for receipts or profile images, contacts access when you choose people for a group or split, and notification access for relevant updates.

Your operating system controls these permissions. You may deny or revoke them, though the related feature may no longer work as intended.

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, maintain, analyze, or support Beewise. They may process information only for the services they provide to us and under appropriate confidentiality obligations.

Information connected to a group or shared expense may be visible to the people you invite to that group or split. Please review participants before sharing.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We do not sell your personal information.

The Beewise website may use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect the service, and understand how the website is used. These technologies may collect browser type, device information, pages visited, and approximate location derived from an IP address.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking required cookies may prevent sign-in or other parts of the website from working correctly. Where required, we will ask for consent before using optional analytics or advertising technologies.

When information is deleted, residual copies may remain temporarily in backups or logs until they are securely overwritten or no longer required. We may retain limited records where required by law or for legitimate security and compliance purposes.

You may update certain account details in the app, change device permissions in system settings, and ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Your rights may vary based on where you live.

To make a privacy request or request account deletion, email support@beewise.club from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Removing information may limit or disable parts of Beewise.

Beewise is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Beewise evolves or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required.
